Why Manhattan Beach Stands Apart
This is not just a coastal market, it is a way of life that buyers pay a premium to access. Manhattan Beach sits at the intersection of natural beauty, top-tier schools, and understated affluence, making it a rare environment where families put down deep roots and rarely want to leave.
The city’s walkability, clean streets, and year-round temperate climate create an outdoor-first lifestyle that draws residents from across Los Angeles County and beyond. Mornings begin on the Strand with a run or a surf session. Afternoons settle into the locally owned restaurants and cafés along Manhattan Beach Boulevard. Evenings carry a quiet energy that is hard to find anywhere else this close to a major metro.
For buyers, this lifestyle is the product. The home is how you access it.

Manhattan Beach: one of the most beautiful beach towns in the world. Most who live here never want to leave. Great surf, world class restaurants, & top-rated schools are just the beginnings of what makes Manhattan Beach magical. The warm community boasts cleanliness and safety. Some would call the climate perfect year-round.
John Merrill & George Peck flipped a coin in 1901 to decide what the town would be called. Merrill, from New York City, won the toss & built the first downtown building. Incorporated December 2nd, 1912, plants were laid in the sand on Manhattan Avenue for vehicles and along the Strand streets for pedestrians. The pier was completed in 1920, & the population grew in the ’50s as a desirable place to be. Today you’ll find a city still evolving with older homes transforming to new.
